WordPin Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the WordPin service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Service is owned and operated by WordPin (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms affect your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

This Terms of Service also incorporates by reference our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer of Liability (Section 18). By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all related policies.

2. Description of Service

WordPin is a Pinterest pin scheduling platform that allows users to plan, create, and schedule Pinterest pins. The Service utilizes Pinterest’s official API to interact with your Pinterest account and publish content on your behalf based on your instructions and schedule.

3. Pinterest Integration

3.1 API Usage

WordPin uses the official Pinterest API to interact with your Pinterest account. By using our Service, you authorize us to:

  • Access your Pinterest account information
  • View your boards and pins
  • Create pins on your behalf based on your scheduling preferences
  • Perform other actions as authorized through the Pinterest OAuth process

3.2 Pinterest Compliance

You acknowledge and agree that your use of WordPin must comply with Pinterest’s Terms of Service. WordPin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest. Pinterest® is a registered trademark of Pinterest, Inc.

3.3 API Limitations

The functionality of WordPin is dependent on Pinterest’s API. We may modify or update our Service in response to changes in Pinterest’s API, policies, or functionality. We are not responsible for any disruption, limitation, or data loss resulting from Pinterest’s changes or enforcement actions.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Registration Requirements

To use WordPin, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or breach of security.

4.3 Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

5. User Content

5.1 Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you upload to WordPin. By using our Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, publish, or display through the Service. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have permission to use the content
  • The content does not infringe any third-party rights
  • The content complies with Pinterest’s and WordPin’s Terms of Service

5.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that may create liability for us.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Subscription Plans – WordPin offers subscription tiers with varying features. Current pricing is available on our website.
6.2 Free Trial – At the end of a free trial, charges will begin automatically unless canceled.
6.3 Payment – All fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.
6.4 Subscription Changes – We may modify pricing with notice before changes take effect.
6.5 Cancellation – You may cancel at any time via your account; access remains until the end of the billing period.

7. Rate Limits and Usage Restrictions

7.1 Rate Limits – To ensure fair use, we may limit scheduling frequency or volume per plan.
7.2 Account Limits – We may restrict features as needed for system stability or compliance.
7.3 Prohibited Activities – You may not:

  • Violate laws or regulations
  • Infringe third-party rights
  • Upload harmful or illegal content
  • Attempt unauthorized access or interfere with the Service
  • Use WordPin for spamming, automation of engagement (likes, follows, comments), or prohibited behaviors on Pinterest

8. Termination

8.1 By User – You may terminate your account at any time.
8.2 By WordPin – We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms.
8.3 Effect of Termination – Upon termination, your right to use WordPin ceases immediately. Sections that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) shall survive termination.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, without liability to you or others.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 WordPin Property – All platform content, design, and functionality are owned by WordPin and protected by copyright and trademark law.
10.2 Feedback – Any feedback you provide is voluntary and may be used without obligation or compensation.

11. Disclaimers

11.1 Service Provided “As Is” – The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
11.2 No Guarantees – We do not guarantee continuous, secure, or error-free operation, nor accuracy or reliability of results.
11.3 Third-Party Services – We are not responsible for any third-party services, including Pinterest.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordPin, its owners, developers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including:

  • Account suspension, shadow banning, or termination by Pinterest
  • Data loss, access failure, or service interruptions
  • Unauthorized access or alteration of your content
  • Any financial or reputational loss

In jurisdictions where such exclusions are limited, liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WordPin, its owners, developers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your:

  • Use or misuse of WordPin
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of Pinterest’s policies or third-party rights

This obligation survives termination.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of WordPin is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration in Buffalo, New York, conducted in English before one arbitrator with experience in commercial contracts and technology law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

18. Disclaimer of Liability (Incorporating Separate Disclaimer)

18.1 Independent Relationship with Pinterest

WordPin is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest® is a registered trademark of Pinterest, Inc. All actions taken by Pinterest regarding your account are beyond our control.

18.2 Use at Your Own Risk

You use WordPin entirely at your own risk. We do not guarantee account safety, stability, or compliance with Pinterest’s evolving rules or algorithms.

18.3 No Responsibility for Account Actions

WordPin and its owners, developers, employees, and affiliates are not responsible for:

  • Account bans, suspensions, or shadow bans
  • Content removal, reach limitations, or policy enforcement by Pinterest
  • Token revocation, posting delays, or data loss
  • Business, financial, or reputational damage resulting from Pinterest’s actions or your use of WordPin

18.4 Limitation

By using WordPin, you accept full responsibility for ensuring compliance with Pinterest’s policies and acknowledge that your use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant updates will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
